Case Background:
This is a class action lawsuit on behalf of those who purchased or acquired Cognyte Software Ltd. ("Cognyte") (NASDAQ: CGNT) common stock between February 2, 2021 through June 28, 2022, both dates inclusive (the “Class Period”).
The Complaint alleges that, throughout the Class Period, Defendants issued materially false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: 1) Cognyte created, distributed, and provided reconnaissance tools and services that violated community standards and terms of service of communication network sources and technologies such as Facebook; and 2) the foregoing exposed Cognyte to significant financial and reputational risk.
Current Status of Case:
On November 10, 2023, Lead Plaintiff filed an Amended Complaint. Defendants filed a Motion to Dismiss on December 6, 2023. On September 30, 2024, the Court entered an Opinion and Order granting the Motion to Dismiss. On October 21, 2024, Lead Plaintiff filed a letter with the Court requesting permission to file an amended complaint. The Court has not yet ruled on this request. This action is ongoing
