Dr. Jim Hess named 20th President

A new vision for success at OSU

The OSU A&M Board of Regents appointed Dr. Jim Hess as the 20th president of Oklahoma State University. During his interim time, Hess has outlined a vision focused on student success, emphasizing that every university decision should enhance education and the student experience. Hess continues to create closer connections between key functions of the university and the students it supports and impacts.

OSU Esports claims Big 12 Championship in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate May 14

Noah Hightower was joined by fellow OSU students Grant Adamson, Mason McKnight, Evan Simons and Nolan Voss for the inaugural Big 12 esports tournament. The team, competing in its maiden tournament under the OSU Esports brand, faced off against fellow Big 12 institutions, the University of Colorado, the University of Houston, the University of Arizona, Arizona State University, the University of Kansas and co-host Baylor University.

OSU and Oklahoma Genetics inc. partnership benefits wheat industry May 14

Oklahoma is known for its rolling and expansive wheat fields because wheat is one of the top crops produced in the state. More than 70% of all wheat acres are planted with varieties developed at Oklahoma State University, including 36 varieties commercialized by the university since 2000.
