EMERITA INTERSECTS HIGH GRADE COPPER-GOLD MINERALIZATION AT EL CURA; MOBILIZES SECOND RIG TO ACCELERATE EL CURA DRILL PROGRAM   TORONTO, June 25, 2024-- Emerita Resources Corp. (TSX-V: EMO; OTCQB: EMOTF; FSE: LLJA) (the “Company” or “Emerita”) has intersected significant new mineralization in drilling at El Cura deposit area, part of Emerita’s wholly owned Iberian Belt West project (“IBW” or the “Project”; Please see Figure 1 below). IBW hosts three previously identified Volcanogenic Massive Sulfide (VMS) deposits: La Infanta, La Romanera and El Cura. Results contained in this news release are from El Cura deposit area only. Resouro Strategic Metals Inc (TSX-V RSM) was the best performing Rare Earths stock on the Toronto Stock Exchange Ventures market last year, up from 15c to 42c. RSM shares have now traded on the TSX-V at up to 63c. This is a great base ahead of start of trade on the Australian Securities Exchange on Friday (June 14). 63c is a equivalent to around AUD 70c which is a 40% premium over the AUD 50c placement completed ahead of the ASX listing. We wait with great anticipation for trading on the ASX which will allow the market make its comparisons with Resouro's ASX peers.

For corporations to be #profitable over the long term, #traceability needs to become a key component of nickel mining. Investors, customers and governments will want and need to be able to trace raw battery materials such as #nickel back to their origins, and those producers that can deliver that #information quickly will come out on top.

Let’s consider the headline in the Globe & Mail yesterday on the gold sector, in relation to the decades-long discovery lag in gold and copper both in Canada, and globally. Why is the Globe writing about M&A targeting juniors with strong gold assets? Because major mining companies with Tier I gold assets have strengthening balance sheets as the case for gold price remains strong. Why would majors need to acquire juniors with strong assets? Because, as we last illustrated, there is a discovery lag in gold and copper deposits some 30 years in the making, as major mining companies worldwide pulled back from greenfields exploration beginning in the 1990’s, the very “R&D” in our industry that provides the new chutes for development as mature operations approach their natural end-of-life. Power Nickel (TSXV:PNPN) is a junior mining company that has made a remarkable discovery at its NISK project in Quebec's Abitibi region. The recently uncovered Lion Zone has emerged as a game-changer for the company, boasting exceptionally high-grade nickel, copper, platinum group metals (PGMs), gold, and silver mineralization. Drill results from the Lion Zone have been outstanding, with numerous holes yielding grades ranging from 3% to an astounding 30% copper equivalent over substantial widths. Amex Exploration Inc. (AMX-V) Amex delivers positive PEA on Perron Gold Project, Abitibi, Québec. Amex on November 13, 2024, announced the results of a NI 43-101 compliant PEA (Preliminary Economic Assessment) for its 100%-owned Perron gold project, located near the town of Normétal in the Province of Québec. The PEA was prepared in collaboration with independent engineering and geological firms. Recall on September 5, 2024 Amex had reported the results of a first mineral resource estimates on the Perron Project in the Abitibi region of Québec (https://lnkd.in/eYzCXuhU). Notably, the drillhole database for the resource was closed on June 30, 2024, and more than 28,000m of recent diamond drilling has not been included in the current resource and PEA. The PEA defines a 1,750tpd gold underground and open pit operation with a 10-year mine life. The mine, to be mainly operated as a mechanized underground operation, shall be complemented by open pit production (up to 5 open pits). The Perron Project is underpinned by top class infrastructure due to proximity to the town of Normétal in the heart of the Abitibi. The PEA draws from only ~1.1Moz total resources (1.6Moz) and hence potential for optionality. The mineral resources that have flowed to the mine plan are contained within 5 different zones (High Grade, Denise, Gratien, Grey Cat and Team) over a strike length of 2,900m and span from surface to a depth of ~1,400m. Average annual production of 101,000 oz Au, (1,014,000 million oz Au) with average diluted grades for gold at 5.26 g/t Au. The PEA demonstrates a top-tier high margin gold mining operation of reasonable CAPEX and potential for growth with IRR at 40.2% and after-tax NPV of $525M (at a gold price of US$2,000/oz. and a C$/US$ exchange rate of 1.35:1). ZIJIN MINING INCREASES COPPER OUTPUT TARGETS AMID SOARING PRICES China’s leading copper miner, Zijin Mining Group, has raised its output guidance as copper prices rally toward record highs due to expected supply deficits. In a recent filing to the Shanghai Stock Exchange, Zijin announced plans to boost mined copper production to 1.22 million tons by 2025, a 4% increase from its previous target. The company projects that by 2028, output will surge to between 1.5 and 1.6 million tons, marking a roughly 50% increase from 2023 levels. I am extremely pleased that we have just made some very important and rapid steps toward identifying additional high-grade drill-ready targets. We were pleasantly surprised to uncover new vertical high-grade gold quartz veins outside the known Combined Mine area zones now extending the strike length from 750 meters to 1000 meters. We are also waiting for the sample results from our Young’s Bay Occurrence which is host to six parallel quartz veins with 262 metres in strike length. Eight tons of high-grade ore was extracted from the surface historically and the grade was reported to be an astonishing 24.75 oz/t/gold. Please stay tuned for more results.
