Dr. Sprinkler

Ok before I forget to do this again:

Dr Sprinkler is a great choice for any of your irrigation needs. Simple pipe repair? Check. New drip system for your yard? Check. Rewiring your timer system to new set up? Check.

Everyone from the office staff to the install team is friendly, prompt and professional. Their works is excellent and they communicate all the details up front. Pricing very reasonable.

Give them a call, they won't let you down!

Brett and Allie are awesome. I highly recommend them for any landscaping items either sprinkler or lighting. They are the best.

I contacted Dr. Sprinkler about a leaking valve. It was not a huge rush so I had an appointment setup for the following week. Brett sent a quote based on my description of the issue. I was notified by his office the day before that they would still be there in the two-hour time window provided. Brett arrived on time, replaced the valve, tested that all was working. Brett did a great job at a fair price - saving me lots of Home Depot trips! I would highly recommend Brett and his company for all tour irrigation needs!

All around my foundation the paint and stucco was crumbling off. I had the stucco repaired and the house painted and four separate employees of the painting company said "If you don't do something about these planter sprinklers you'll have this same issue really fast". The issue is all the planter sprinklers were about 1/2" away from my house causing it to be constantly sprayed no matter how you adjusted them. My gardener is good at fixing the lawn sprinklers but he wasn't much help with the planter sprinklers.

I found Dr. Sprinkler on yelp and saw some yelp friends had success with them. I liked how they specialized in sprinklers so I contacted them for a quote. Ally contacted me quickly and set up an appointment with Nick for a quote. Nick came out and was extremely nice and we liked all his solutions. We would replace all the planter sprinklers with drip irrigation. They also said they could fill in the soil trenches the painters dug around my foundation and cover all my planters with mulch. I liked what Nick had to say and signed up. The following Thursday Nick and Shane came out.

This was truly a pain in the arse job that took them about 9 hours to finish. Not something I would have wanted to do myself so I'm glad I hired the pros. All the spray sprinklers were removed and capped off below ground level. Then at strategic points the thick drip irrigation hose was hooked up to the water source and the hose intertwined amongst the plants. Valves had to be replaced with pressure regulated valves. It was a long dirty job. After everything was tested then it was all covered in mulch. I was then given a demonstration and they told me what to set my timers for. Now the planters look beautiful, all the sprinklers are gone from our wall, and the irrigation is hidden. Now instead of 50% or more of the water spraying all over my house and sidewalks it'll be 100% of it going into the soil. He said even running this for 20 to 30 minutes a few times a week uses less water than the previous sprinklers did in 3 minutes. I also love how they're whisper quiet. The old sprinklers would always wake me up.

This would have been a 5 star experience except for 2 issues.

1. I paid for them to mulch my planters. It was a insane price for mulch but Nick said "He has a guy that makes great mulch". His "guy" ended up being the Vigoro $3.99 a bag mulch from Home Depot. What pisses me off is when they finished Nick said "we didn't get enough mulch so you need to buy another 5 to 10 bags to finish the job". I paid YOU a LOT of money for YOU to do the job. It's YOUR job to get enough materials. If you didn't buy enough than YOU need to go back to the store and buy enough to finish the job. So now I paid a ridiculous amount for "his guy's" home depot mulch but now I have to finish the job. That pisses me off big time. I could have saved a lot of money by doing all the mulch myself but wanted to save my back from hauling it here. But now I have to anyways.

2. One of them damaged the paint on the window sill in front of my wife's office. She heard him do it. She heard the other employee say "How did you do that???" and them replying "I don't know, I must need a break!". Then they never told us. Accidents happen, and due to the long day I'm sure they just forgot to mention it. They were both very nice and professional so I'm sure it wasn't intentional but they forgot. But if they would have just told us right away when it happened I would have said "Hey, accidents happen, I'll touch it up when you leave". But now I'm touching it up and mentioning it on this review.

In the end don't let my two negatives steer you away from Dr. Sprinkler. It was a great experience from start to finish and I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again. I just wanted to be honest and leave a fair review with what I loved and what bothered me.

Love the new controller. Easy to use and helps to monitor and fine tune watering. But also just does what it's programmed to do, if you don't have time to worry about it. Brett knows the neighborhood and knows how to repair and troubleshoot problems. Excellent courteous service.

Super easy to work with, professional, punctual, and reliable--our experience with Dr. Sprinkler was nothing short of exceptional. They handled everything flawlessly, from tuning up our sprinklers to replacing broken valves and fixing leaky pipes. Brett quickly got us scheduled for an estimate on the same day, and Logen took care of both the initial assessment and the repairs with such skill. Ally was fantastic with communication every step of the way, making sure everything fit into our schedule for the repairs and final payment. This team really knows how to work together seamlessly. Seriously, it was the easiest experience ever!

I called several sprinkler companies to get estimates on fixing the sprinklers in our yard, and found the prices and customer service at Dr Sprinkler to be the best. I made the appointment with Ally, at the front office, and she had her technician come out fairly quickly.

When they came out originally, there were some sprinklers in desperate need of repair. They replaced most of our broken sprinklers, and it seemed like we had pretty good coverage. Within a couple of weeks, I noticed that a couple of spots weren't getting enough water. I called Ally, and she sent Nick out.

Nick was exceptional. He repaired the section that wasn't working. He also adjusted some other sprinklers for us so we had better coverage. He was friendly, honest, and hard working. We got our sprinklers fixed, and the sprinklers are now in better working order than ever!

We are impressed with how our sprinklers currently work. The service was great, and the prices were good as well. We would definitely recommend Dr Sprinkler to all of our friends.

On Time, Friendly & Professional, Reasonably priced and Excellent results! I typically do these types of repairs myself but after discovering Dr Sprinkler, NEVER again....Ricardo listened to my concerns with the existing sprinklers, recommended the necessary repairs and completed the work efficiently and with a great attitude. Most importantly, Ally & Ricardo made me feel like a valued and appreciated customer.

Had some issues with my timer which would randomly turn on my sprinklers. Reached out to several places for estimates but Dr. Sprinkler was the only one that promptly got back to me and set up a time to come for a FREE estimate. Service was professional and friendly. Checked out my sprinklers and talked to me about what the possible issues could be but didn't try to push me to get a new irrigation system or anything outrageous. Recommended to monitor the timer and consider a replacement if the problem persist. Can't review on quality of service since I there was no actual work done but will definitely consider them when I can get my backyard in shape.

Dr. Sprinkler did a great job installing a smart irrigation system for a large front yard and backyard. It was competitively priced and done in a timely manner. It is so nice to have an irrigation system that I control from my phone, and has already saved me water and money. It is very responsive to projected weather and soil conditions.
