Benton has announced that it has recently completed drill hole GB-25-60, its second hole from west to east, continuing to build on the high-grade copper mineralization present within the Great Burnt Main Zone. The Company additionally anticipates further drilling to test historical areas of weaker mineralization and has intersected two significant zones of heavy stringer to semi-massive mineralization under the surface area of the North Stringer Zone. Benton has announced that it has expanded the Great Burnt Main Zone down plunge to 950 m in strike length with recent drilling confirming this expansion, including drill hole GB-25-53 that intersected 7.2 m of heavy stringer and semi-massive copper mineralization. Downhole geophysics will be completed to define the potential massive sulphide zone at depth for further drilling. Additionally, Benton reports that infill hole GB-25-54 has successfully intersected 10.43 m of stringer, semi-massive and massive sulphide mineralization, and the current drill program has also targeted several new areas and zones where highly anomalous Copper and Gold mineralization was discovered at surface. Benton has announced that it has received additional impressive Copper results from the Great Burnt Main Zone, which was successfully intersected at 220 m downhole, and confirms mineralization in a parallel Footwall Zone. Drilling has recommenced to test the parallel horizon in several areas. The Company is planning multiple drill holes on this horizon, along with testing the down plunge extension of the Great Burnt Main Zone. Benton has announced that it has received its best gold results to date at the South Pond Gold-Copper Zone, surface exploration and drilling now spans approx. 3.0 km and remains open. Drilling will recommence in mid-January with continued testing of parallel and deep EM conductors, a 15,000 m drill program is planned and the Company is awaiting further gold and copper assay results for the last 3 holes drilled in 2024.
