Hugues Jacquemin speaks to France’s L'Usine Nouvelle about Northern Graphite’s plans to upgrade graphite from its Okanjande project in Namibia into Battery Anode Material (“BAM”) in France. Hugues Jacquemin travelled to Washington D.C. this week to join North American Graphite Alliance colleagues in meetings on The Hill to advance a sustainable #graphite supply chain in the region. Hugues will also attend the STEER graphite Supply Chain Forum where leaders are gathered with players from government and industry to discuss how to secure the future of graphite, the leading component of Lithium-Ion batteries for electric vehicles but which is often considered “the overlooked critical mineral”. In the Forum, STEER will present results and solicit feedback on the costs of US graphite production versus China and the impact of supply chain disruptions. https://lnkd.in/eWgAPjRJ
