Happy Father’s Day to our co-founders, Dmitry Malin and Max (Maxim) Azarov! Novakid was founded on a simple yet powerful motivation: two fathers who wanted a better way for their children to learn English. Like many parents, Max once struggled to find a good English teacher for his eldest son. Most offline options were underwhelming, and online services at the time were mainly focused on adults. The experience reminded him of his childhood challenges learning English: boring, ineffective and uninspiring. Max and Dmitry often dreamed of building something better - a platform that made language learning fun, engaging and effective. Their first idea? A 'language learning box' - a device with a voice bot that would deliver lessons and communicate with the student. It didn’t take off, but it led to something bigger... Driven by a desire to help their children become bilingual and inspired by the growing interest from other parents, Max and Dmitry combined their tech expertise and real-world educational needs to create Novakid: an award-winning online English platform that provides full immersion language learning for young learners.
