Case Background:
This is a federal securities fraud class action lawsuit on behalf of those who purchased or otherwise acquired Symbotic, Inc. (“Symbotic”) (NASDAQ: SYM) Class A common stock between November 20, 2023 and February 5, 2025, inclusive (the “Class Period”).
The complaint alleges that, throughout the Class Period, Defendants made materially false and/or misleading statements, as well as failed to disclose material adverse facts about Symbotic’s business, operations, and prospects. Specifically, Defendants failed to disclose to investors that: (1) Symbiotic improperly accelerated its revenue recognition in its second and third quarter 2024 financial statements; (2) Symbotic had a material weakness in its internal controls over financial reporting; and (3) as a result of the foregoing, Defendants’ positive statements about Symbotic’s business, operations, and prospects were materially misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis.
Current Status of Case:
On September 11, 2025, Defendants filed a Motion to Dismiss. This action is ongoing.
