A Strategic Royalty with Long-Term Growth Potential in Central Brazil Lavras Gold holds a 2% NSR royalty on 65,000 hectares of exploration concessions surrounding Hochschild Mining’s Mara Rosa Mine in central Brazil—providing shareholders with exposure to one of the country’s most active and expanding gold districts. Hochschild invested US$205 million to build the Mara Rosa Gold Mine, which entered commercial production in May 2024. Production from the Posse Pit—not included in Lavras Gold’s royalty—is forecast at 35,000–45,000 ounces of gold in 2025, highlighting the mine’s ramp-up and regional growth potential. Mining on the land held under Lavras Gold’s royalty is anticipated to occur several years down the road, providing shareholders with long-term leverage to future discoveries and development success across this 65,000-hectare land package. Understanding the Strong Metasomatic Alteration at Fazenda do Posto and Butiá At The LDS Project, Lavras Gold’s Fazenda do Posto discovery and Butiá Deposit are characterized by a remarkably strong metasomatic (chemical alteration) process that provides valuable insight into the evolution of gold mineralization within the Lavras Intrusive Complex. Drilling and petrographic analysis have identified a clear progression of alteration: * Unaltered granodiorite showing microfractures and incipient metasomatism * Moderate to strongly altered granodiorite, where a salmon-pink alteration front transforms the original host rock * Vuggy textured granodiorite resulting from the dissolving of the quartz material leaving ‘pores’ allowing mineral rich fluids to invade the altered rock * Perthitic granite and episyenite, formed when milky quartz precipitates in vugs—later replaced by chlorite, phengite, carbonate, sulphides, gold, and rare earth elements This metasomatic overprint is a hallmark of deep magmatic-hydrothermal systems and a key driver of the extensive and continuous gold mineralization seen across the Butiá–Fazenda do Posto corridor. Momentum continues at Butiá and Fazenda do Posto Drilling is driving growth at The LDS Project, where Lavras Gold is defining two major gold systems in Southern Brazil. Together, the Butiá Deposit and Fazenda do Posto Discovery have now seen 58,230 metres of drilling across 209 holes. This includes: • Butiá (pre-2022, predecessor companies): 78 holes totaling 20,200 metres • Butiá (Lavras Gold, post-2022): 66 holes totaling 19,926 metres • Historical (CBC/RTZ): 18 holes totaling 2,412 metres • Fazenda do Posto (since discovery in August 2023): 47 holes totaling 15,649 metres Drilling continues at both targets, where results have consistently expanded mineralization and confirmed strong continuity across the system.
